Help for Maryland Homeowners With Storm Damage

Annapolis, Maryland (Tuesday, January 16, 2024) – The Maryland Insurance Administration is hosting a free virtual event today to assist homeowners with insurance related issues or damage related to the recent storms. Fallen gutters, siding ripped away from high winds, or a tree crashing into your home. These are just some of the realities homeowners are tackling in the wake of the recent storms moving across the DMV. But getting relief and answers from your insurance company could be daunting.

The Maryland Virtual Disaster Center is up and running today from 12-2 p.m. and again from 5 to 7 p.m. to help guide residents through the insurance process. Officials say there will be a general session followed by one-on-one breakout rooms. There is no registration necessary.
