Harris Shines As Democrats Debate, Part II

Two nights, twenty candidates. The Democratic presidential debates in Miami have wrapped. The consensus is that Senator Kamala Harris was the standout last night. Harris took on the front runner former Vice-Present Joe Biden for his decision in the 1970s to let local rather than the federal government control school desegregation.  Kamala Harris Communications Director Lily Adams said Friday that Harris did misc-characterize Biden’s position on busing and the record proves it.  Meanwhile,  Atlanta’s mayor is endorsing Joe Biden, providing what many see as crucial support from a high-profile black female political leader. Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms says she believes the former Vice President is best positioned to beat President Trump.
