(Washington, DC) — The January 6th House committee is setting a new public hearing next Wednesday. Chatting with reporters, committee Chairman Bennie Thompson suggested it could be the last public hearing unless some new information emerges in the coming weeks. He didn’t announce any new witnesses for next week’s hearing. The committee is thought to be pushing to get a final report out before November’s midterm elections. That timetable is flexible.
