(Washington, DC) — Tax day is here and the IRS says anyone having last-minute issues filing their return can get in-person tax help. Taxpayer Assistance Centers are available across the country with extended office hours through April 16th. The IRS is asking taxpayers to call ahead to schedule an appointment. You’ll have to bring photo I-D, tax documents and a taxpayer identification number, which can be a Social Security number.
