Lawmakers Take Another Look At Capitol Attack

The Justice Department is planning hundreds of criminal prosecutions that have been linked to the Capitol attack.

(Washington, DC) — Lawmakers are taking another look at the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol. California Democrat Zoe Lofgren opened a virtual House hearing and said Congress needs to ensure that Capitol Police do a better job of assessing violent threats. She again accused now-former President Trump of inciting the violence at the Capitol. Illinois Republican Rodney Davis also expressed concerns about the Capitol Police Department’s limited intelligence gathering and analysis capabilities.
