(Washington, DC) — District Police are reporting that a fourth man has stepped forward and pleaded guilty in the murder of an 11-year-old boy. Officials say 21-year-old Carol General is the fourth person to plead guilty in connection with the death of Davon McNeal in July 2020 in Southeast D.C. McNeal was shot on his way to a community anti-violence cookout on July 4th. General could be sentenced to up to sixteen-years in prison on his guilty plea. Officials say 20-year-old Daryle Bond, 26-year-old Marcel Gordon and 24-year-old Christan Wingfield have already pleaded guilty for their parts in McNeal’s death.
