Montgomery County Looking For Suspects Who Posed As Police

The suspects were reportedly armed when they broke into the home.

(Montgomery County, MD) — Montgomery County officials are searching for three people who broke into a Germantown residence and initially posed as police officers. The suspects were reportedly armed when they broke into the home, shouted they were Montgomery County police, and demanded cash and property. A fight then broke out and one of the four victims was hit in the back of the head, causing minor injuries. The suspects fled without money or property. As they were leaving, the same man who was struck allegedly chased the suspects down a stairwell, and one of the suspects fired a single shot. The man was not struck.
