(Rockville, MD) — Montgomery County Public Schools will remain open after confirming three cases of the coronavirus in the county. Governor Larry Hogan declared a state of emergency yesterday after making the announcement on the cases. State officials believe the patients affected, who are Montgomery County residents, have not come in contact with any students from MCPS. Schools across the county are prepared for the possibility of a closure in the future with remote instructions and hard copy lessons.
