Tomorrow is election day in Maryland. Maryland, DC and several states across the nation are in midst of pivotal primaries. Decisions made this year will have sweeping implications for the black vote and issues facing the Black community. This past weekend, Harold Fisher moderated a Juneteenth panel about voting, advocacy and the political voice of our community. That panel was put together by the National Council of Negro Women, Potomac Valley Section in Montgomery County. This discussion was energetic and of critical importance. We decided to bring the discussion to our listeners with some of the panelists to expand the conversation about protecting the Black vote.
Guests:
B.J. Dawkins, Advocate/Community Educator

Dr. Sheryl Brissett Chapman, Former CEO, The National Center for Children and Families, Trustee, Montgomery College
