(Tuesday, October 5, 2021) – A chaotic morning for parents and students in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. A school bus strike sent families scrambling trying to figure out how to get their youngsters to school.
80 bus routes were impacted, disrupting transportation for students at dozens of schools. Drivers who work for Annapolis Bus Company, one of several contractors for the school system are on strike to demand better pay and benefits. School officials are not clear how long the action will last and are encouraging parents to look for other options to get their children to and from school.
