(Washington, DC) — The House is set to eventually vote on a one-point-seven-trillion-dollar bill to fund the government after it cleared the Senate this afternoon. Senators voted 68-29 to pass the omnibus measure today ahead of Friday’s deadline. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said it’s a win for American families, workers and national defense. Earlier today, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said it would take a few hours after Senate passage to get the bill to her chamber.
