Six Metro Stations Reopen After Construction Closure

(Alexandria, VA) — The work week is starting off with six Metro stations reopen along Blue and Yellow lines. Service resumed yesterday after being closed for eight weeks. Crews are building tracks for the new Potomac Yard Station, and repairing the Yellow Line tunnel and bridge. The transit agency also plans to have more trains running before Thanksgiving and improve frequency for Red, Blue, Orange and Silver lines next month.
