February is Black History Month and there are a host of activities and events taking place to help celebrate, learn, and get closer to the culture.  This morning we talk with organizers of the DC Black History Celebration Committee.  My guest is Eric Smith – Board Member of the  DC Black History Celebration Committee

The DC Black History Celebration Committee is featuring a host of events and is inviting residents to show their support by displaying committee signs of Black Lives and Black History Matter.  Free signs and Black History Month calendars can be picked up at DC public libraries and selected restaurants.  For more information go here:
