A big deadline is looming in Prince George’s County and we don’t want you to miss out on the getting the assistance you may need. The County’s Department Housing and Community Development will stop accepting new applications for its emergency rental assistance program December 15th. The Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) will close the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) application portal on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 3:00 PM. The ERAP will continue to review and process remaining applications after the application portal closes. Closing the application portal will ensure that DHCD has the funding needed for the open applications that still need to be processed for payment, including applications received between now and December 15.
