The Howard University College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences is participating in a program called All of Us, designed to get more people of color to participate in critical research. Launched by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the All of Us Research Program seeks to build a national research cohort of one million or more participants. All of Us Research Program, we are expanding the pool of individuals available to participate in critical research initiatives, to truly reflect the diversity of America. Academic nursing is helping to advance precision medicine and the development of more effective ways to treat and prevent diseases.” The event is Saturday June 1stat the Maya Angelou High School 5600 East Capitol St. NE.
