WHUR is in its Season of Giving and we are asking for your help to shelter youth in need from the cold. Our Virtual Children’s Coat Drive is underway and the brothers of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity are joining us again this year to help us with our mission. My guest is Frank Griffith – Polemarch for College Park Sandy Spring Alumnae Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
We know that things are different for us this year. Typically, we would be out in the community with a huge coat drive. But we are in the midst of a pandemic. However, the reality is that the need to provide homeless and low-income children with new coats is still very much necessary.
WHUR is hosting its Children’s Coat Drive thru October 31st. You can make a donation online at whur.com. Help us to purchase new coats and other winter gear for kids in need across the DMV.
