We are just a few weeks away from kids returning to the classroom and my guest this morning is working to help get families back to school ready.  He has details about an important event happening this coming weekend in Alexandria.  It’s called the Back-2-School Slam Jam Madness. METWC’s Annual Back-2-School Slam Jam Madness on August 2, 2026 at the Patrick Henry Recreation Center in Alexandria, VA, starting at 12:00 PM. It features free backpacks, a health fair, a food fair, and a 16-and-up basketball tournament.
