Here’s your chance to have a say about a new memorial important to the history of Black America.  Designers of the African Landing Memorial at Fort Monroe will be hosting listening tours to get public comments on the design.  I have details of how you can give your input.   My guest is Brian Owens –Sculpture and visual Artist

Fort Monroe Authority and other organizations will be travelling the Washington, DC area as part of a listening tour to get input on the design planned for the African Landing Memorial.  The planned tour will have stops at the National Museum of African American History and Culture, Howard University, and Northern Virginia Community College among other locations.
