The Atatiana Jefferson Police Shooting

The former Fort Worth, Texas police officer who shot a black woman to death in her own home is facing a murder charge.   Aaron Dean who is white… is out on bond after his arrest last night.  Dean responded to 28-year-old Atatiana Jefferson’s home early Saturday morning after a neighbor called police because Jefferson’s front door was open.  Jefferson family attorney Lee Merritt says there is a long way to go before justice for Atatiana Jefferson is reached.   We talk  about how this could happen again… one year after Botham Jean… a black man… was shot and killed by a white off-duty officer in his own apartment.
