Documentary looks at the criminalization of black girls and the school to prison pipeline.

We often talk about the school to prison pipeline and reference black boys. But there are growing numbers of our black girls in prison. The suspensions rates are increasing and  we’re seeing more incidents of abuse. We get an in-depth look at this issue in a new documentary titled “Push Out: The Criminalization of Black Girls in Schools”.
