Children Being Pulled Away From Organized Sports….

Are too few children participating in organized sports, as access to physical fitness has plummeted during the pandemic? One doctor and author thinks so.

Sports and kids typically go hand-in-hand.  And that combination “used” to include schools.

But recent studies have shown that school systems across the country are cutting back on sports programs for school aged children. And then there is the pandemic which has pulled many kids away from organized sports activities.

One leading expert says the lack of involvement in organized sports is a having a negative effect on kids physically, emotionally and academically.  That expert joins us tonight for our conversation.
