Climate Change, Environmental Equity and the Black Community

Addressing long-standing issues about environmental equity in communities of color.

This month’s severe weather in texas has refocused our attention on the issue of climate change.  Restoring power is still an issue there, as is getting the water works back to normal.  But this is also reminding us about long-standing issues about environmental equity in communities of color.  These are issues we need to pay attention to now, more than ever before.
