A beautiful day outside was marred by gunfire ringing out in Northwest DC Tuesday afternoon. Three were people shot. Police say two groups of men were shooting at each other. One bullet grazed the head of woman sitting in a car on Colorado Avenue. Another victim was shot at 13th and Peabody Street. It is not clear if the two victims were innocent bystanders caught in the crossfire, but they are expected to survive. Police say around the same time a man was shot in an alley near Kansas Avenue in Northwest. He is serious condition. Police are searching for suspects in both cases.
