(Washington, DC) — President Trump says the federal government is working with local officials after deadly tornadoes hit Tennessee. He made those comments at a meeting of county officials in Washington. At least 22 people are dead after twisters hit the Nashville area early this morning. The tornadoes hit while most people were sleeping and Nashville Fire Department officials say as many as 40 buildings have collapsed. Residents are asked to avoid down power lines and storm debris.
