UCF Professor Allowed To Challenge “Stop Woke” Act

The legislation in question restricts the way race-related concepts are taught in classrooms.

(Tallahassee, FL)  —  A University of Central Florida professor is getting the green light in his legal battle against the governor’s “Stop WOKE Act.”  A federal judge yesterday rejected the state’s arguments claiming professor Robert Cassanello had no legal standing.  The legislation in question restricts the way race-related concepts are taught in classrooms.  The lawsuit was filed to block the law that took effect earlier this year.  No ruling on that was issued as of yet.
