Wife Who Shot Husband In A DC Hotel To Make Court Appearance

The woman who shot her husband at the Mandarin Hotel in Southwest DC last week is scheduled to appear in court today.  Shanteari Weems faces attempted murder charges.  She says she shot her husband following allegations that he sexually abused children at her Owings Mills daycare center.  James Weems is in police custody at a DC hospital.  He faces child sexual assault charges in Baltimore County once released.
