COVID-19 Booster Shot and FDA Full Approval of Pfizer Vaccine

The plan calls for booster doses eight months after people get their second shot of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine.

Just last week… U.S. health officials announced plans to dispense COVID-19 booster shots to all Americans.  This… to shore up protection amid the surging delta variant and evidence that the vaccines’ effectiveness is falling.  The plan calls for booster doses eight months after people get their second shot of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine.  The booster doses could begin the week of September 20th for those with immune deficiencies.  That would still be the big news if it were not for the announcement today that the FDA is giving full approval to the Pfizer COVID vaccine.  We’re talking about all of this and more tonight in our COVID-19 update on this Medical Monday.
