As the pandemic grew in size and scope last year… so did the financial strain on Americans. The lost of jobs and income pressed so many on all sides. But governments eventually stepped in with resources like a moratorium on rental evictions. Utilities and other services gave people breathing room with the elimination of late fees and fines.
