Opioid Addiction and Overdose, Problems and Solutions

Today is International Overdose Awareness Day.

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to overshadow so many other public health issues in our community that are bubbling just beneath the surface. You may remember, before the the pandemic, one of the biggest issues was the opioid epidemic.  That has not gone away.  It remains a problem for the addicted and the fallout from it is impacting those who need pain management… even temporarily.  Today is International Overdose Awareness Day.  We’re discussing the evolving problem and some possible solutions.
