A 13-year-old boy is among five people injured in a shooting this morning in SE, DC.

D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser is moving to clamp down on the violence that has been gripping the city in recent months. City officials today rolled out a plan to target specific areas with wrap around services and enforcement during the summer months.

 The boy was shot in the head on the 4th of July during a stop-the-violence cookout in Anacostia.
