  • Helping Hands 12-hour Radiothon, Sunday from 6am to 6pm. This year 1,100 Howard students are giving up their traditional spring break to perform volunteer service in 22 cities in the U.S. and abroad.  Stop by the the WHUR studios at 529 Bryant St. or donate on-line at giving.howard.edu/alternativespringbreak

 

  • Join Angela Stribling tonight for Quiet Storm “Live” from Sobe Restaurant and Lounge. Doors open at 7pm and the fun and games begin at 8pm. 

 

  • Plus join Angela tomorrow at the T-Mobile  location at 3909 14th NW, DC from 12noon – 2pm.

 

  • Tiffany Haddish is live in concert at The Theater at MGM National Harbor, Saturday night. Show time is 8pm.

  • In collaboration with Howard University, the Shakespeare Theatre Company is featuring the production of James Baldwin’s, “The Amen Corner”. Running through March 15th.  More information here:

 

  • The Washington National Opera’s “Samson and Delilah” comes to the Kennedy Center this Sunday and runs through March 21st.

 

  • Kim Waters is at Blues Alley this weekend for two shows each night 8pm & 10pm.
