The Washington Association of Black Journalists is doing some big things to help promote the culture and lay the foundation for future budding journalists. A gala is coming up. The Urban Journalism Workshop is an annual program that teaches journalism fundamentals thru interactive lectures, hands-on-training and field trips. The 2024 Application process is open for DC area high school students. The deadline is January 7th. For more information go here: www.wabjdc.org
