Let’s warm up our kids for winter? WHUR is getting ready for our 24th Annual Children’s Coat Drive, and we’re calling on the DMV to help make sure local kids have what they need to stay warm when the temperatures drop. Join us Saturday, October 10th from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Shops at Iverson, 3737 Branch Avenue, Hillcrest Heights, Maryland. We’re collecting brand-new coats, hats, gloves, and scarves for children in need. It’s more than a coat. It’s warmth. It’s comfort. It’s knowing that your community cares.
