School bells will be ringing in a matter of weeks and that means the rush is on to get youngsters the materials needed for a successful school year.  

WHUR and our partners want to give parents and guardians a helping hand. We are crisscrossing the DMV on August 17^th to distribute hundreds of backpacks filled with school supplies just in time for back-to-school.
