Boy Shot In Temple Hills on July 4th Dies of His Injuries

(Sunday, July 7, 2024) – Prince George’s County Police say a 6-year-old boy who was shot on Fourth of July in Temple Hills died Saturday of his injuries. The search for the those responsible in the death of Ahsan Julian Payton continues.

The boy was shot Thursday in the 4500 block of Akron Street around 8 p.m. during a holiday gathering. Authorities are looking for at least two gunmen who opened fire in the area.
