Carrie Bernans, an actor known for her role in “Black Panther,” was injured when she was pinned under a food truck during a police chase in Manhattan.
Bernans’ mother shared updates on her daughter’s condition, revealing that she suffered broken bones, fractures, and chipped teeth. Bernans posted a video on Instagram saying that she is in a lot of pain and still unable to walk properly.
The incident also injured several other people, including a police officer. The driver responsible for the crash is in critical condition and is expected to face charges.
