Clarissa Ward Takes Cover in Live CNN Report on Israel

Click HERE to watch as CNN’s Chief International Correspondent, Clarissa Ward, and her team took cover as rockets exploded overhead while reporting on the conflict between Israel and Hamas.

According to The Hill, Ward delivered her updates while crouched against an embankment, describing the “massive barrage of rockets.” “We’re just about five minutes away. Gaza is in that direction. We can hear now a lot of jets in the sky. We can also hear the Iron Dome intercepting a number of those rockets as they were whizzing overhead and making impact in that direction, not too far from here,” says Ward.

She explained that her team was in the location because it was “Ground Zero for this entire operation of carnage.” Ward described heavy weaponry being used and the breach of a border wall.

Once she was able to leave her hiding place, Ward apologized for any difficulty in reporting after being crouched in a ditch.
