A heat advisory has been issued for the Washington Metropolitan area. It will last until 8 p.m. tonight. D.C. Mayor Bowser has extended hours for cooling centers, homeless shelters, and recreation pools across the city.
Some cooling centers with be open until 6 p.m. or until it is safe to be outdoors.

Recreation Pools: Open until 9 P.M. through July 22
