D.C. is launching their vaccine scheduling portal for healthcare workers. Dr. Kavita Patel of Mary’s Center says she’s looking forward to community clinics receiving the vaccine because they tend to treat people disproportionately affected by the virus. Healthcare workers can now make an appointment to get the coronavirus vaccine. Mayor Muriel Bowser provided details on the new feature yesterday. It’s simple, just go to vaccinate.dc.gov. From there, you provide your demographic details like age and gender, medical history, any history of COVID-19, and your contact information. Frontline healthcare workers will then get their appointment to be vaccinated.
