Has dating changed drastically in the last 10 / 20 years? There used to be a time when men took the lead when it came to dating. Or, as the older generations used to say, courting! He’d be the one to ask the woman out on a date. He’d plan and pay for the dates. He would buy flowers and other nice things for her. He pursued her.

But is that still the norm? Many men say that women are really aggressive these days and seem to have no problems pursuing them. In many cases, the women are clearly the aggressors. Some women even take the lead when it comes to proposing marriage.

The question tonight is, do men like being chased? It seems that it would be flattering to men, at least, in the beginning. Right? Can it lead to lasting love and solid relationships? What are your thoughts?
