Eddie Murphy, Lizzo To Appear On ‘SNL’

Saturday  Night Live tweeted their lineup for December shows. Jennifer Lopez, Lizzo, Dababy, and Eddie Murphy will appear for the upcoming shows.

SNL tweeted their lineup for December shows. Jennifer Lopez, Lizzo, Dababy, and Eddie Murphy will appear for the upcoming shows.

J. Lo will host the first episode of the month on December 7. It was recently announced the performer will appear on Oprah Winfrey’s forthcoming wellness tour. The singer and actress is coming off of the blockbuster, Hustlers.

Lizzo will perform two weeks from then on December 21. This will be the singer’s SNL debut. This is adds on to another win for Lizzo this year. Earlier this week, Cuz I Love You won album of the year and “Juice” won video of the year at the 2019 Soul Train Awards.  She’s also nominated for eight Grammy Awards this year. The night that she’s performing, Eddie Murphy will return to SNL for the first time in 35 years as a host.

Murphy was a cast member from 1980 to 1984 where he starred in sketches such as “James Brown’s Celebrity Hot Tub Party,” “Mister Robinson’s Neighborhood,” and “Frank Sinatra and Stevie Wonder Duet.” Murphy is on Netflix’s Dolemite is my Name and is working on sequel to Coming to America.
