The Little Mermaid actress Halle Bailey reveals on Instagram that she gave birth to her first child.

For months, rumors existed that rapper DDG and singer Halle Bailey could be expecting a baby. Days earlier, DDG fueled social, “introducing his baby” with a baby doll.

Saturday, Bailey posted a photo of what appears to be her hand holding a baby hand, wearing a bracelet engraved with the name Halo. She says, “Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son.. welcome to the world my halo 🥰👼🏽 ✨.” She added, “The world is desperate to know you.”

Fans and friends flooded her post with comments, one saying, “Right on YOUR TIME , when you’re READY! I love that for you don’t ever let the internet bully you.” Another added, “Your terms is the only way anyone needed to know anything, and I’m glad you did it just like that!”
