They have also signed notable Gospel artists such as Evvie McKinney, Karen Clark Sheard, and Tyrone “Tye” Tribbett.

Fans can expect to hear solo music from the ex-Xscape singer as early as this year. Kandi hinted at this a while back, saying, “She got a solo deal back in the summer and started saying she wasn’t available for shows. You will see when the tv show comes out.”

According to VIBE.COM, Monica Coates, Co-Executive Director, of Motown Gospel explains, “A hallmark of LaTocha’s successful career has been her love for gospel music and her strong personal connection to the Black church.” She continues, “I am excited for her fans—long-standing and new—to finally have a body of work that reflects those areas of her passion.”
