Three musicals picked up nine nominations a piece, “And Juliet,” “New York, New York,” and “Shucked.”


“Kimberly Akimbo,” picked up eight nominations. Sara Bareilles, Jessica Chastain, Jodie Comer, Josh Groban, Sean Hayes, Samuel L. Jackson, Wendell Pierce, and Ben Platt all received nominations.

Audra McDonald has won the most competitive Tony Awards of any performer in history, with nine nominations and six wins. The Tony Awards will be held on June 11th, with Ariana DeBose hosting the ceremony at the United Palace in Washington Heights, Upper Manhattan.
