(Washington, DC) — DMV residents are getting the season’s first serious blast of finger-numbing cold today. Forecasters say highs won’t make it out of the 30s today in DC and coupled with the steady and gusty winds, real-feel temps will stay below freezing all day. A Gale Warning is in effect for the Chesapeake Bay and lower tidal Potomac until 6:00 tonight. Lows tonight in the District will dip into the 20s and the wind chill will be in the teens. It’ll be even colder in the suburbs.
