The BYRON ALLEN Presents THE WASHINGTON, DC GALA took place at The Smithsonian National Museum of African-American History & Culture in Washington, DC. Hosted by Emmy-nominated producer, and correspondent for THE DAILY SHOW on Comedy Central Roy Wood, Jr., and Featured a live musical concert by the legendary and iconic Diana Ross.
In addition, the best moments of the gala were captured by Candice Adkins featuring interviews with Bevy Smith, Mayor Andre Dickens, Toure’, Mr. Miguel Cardona, Mayor Andre Dickens of Atlanta, Governor Wes Moore of Maryland, and Jawn Murray the Executive Producer of The Sherri Show.
