In case you missed it Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris released her debut album last November and the critics are calling it “fantastic.”

“Wilted” is being called “indie-pop” and was composed with the help of Manchester Orchestra’s Andy Hull and Robert McDowell.

“It’s my experience with love and betrayal and heartbreak. And, in that sense, it is autobiographical,” Paris told Variety.

Paris has said she doesn’t want to get caught up in just one sound and wants to “expand and try everything.” Although Paris calls the album “alternative funk” the music is more Coldplay than Thriller.
