We are a year into the pandemic, and although there is no end in sight, couples are still moving forward with their wedding plans.
NBC News interviewed multiple couples, and they still plan on having wedding celebrations.
One couple interviewed said, “Who knows what’s going to happen tomorrow … It’s very important. A lot more important [that we get married] in the last year since we’ve lost so many people.”
Because of this, many venues are putting different rules into place.
They include requiring groups to be smaller, asking guests to get COVID tests before the ceremony, or having guests show their vaccine cards.
