A Bottle of Jay-Z’s D’USSÉ Cognac Just Sold for $52,000 at Sotheby’s

Over the weekend a bottle of JAY-Z’s D’USSÉ sold for $52,000 during its first appearance at Sotheby’s auction.

“Bottle Number 1” is a limited edition diamond-shaped bottle of D’USSÉ with 24 karat gold leaf wrapping on the neck, and includes D’USSE’s signature Le Croix de Lorraine symbol, with an engraved signature from part-owner Shawn “JAY-Z” Carter.

Proceeds from the sale of the bottle will go to the Shawn Carter Foundation in support of the development and entrepreneurship workshops designed for college alumni.


The remaining bottles of the 1969 Anniversaire Limited Edition by Shawn “JAY-Z” Carter and D’USSE will be available for $12,000 in select cities.
