In a recent interview, Swizz Beatz revealed that Kanye’s involvement in DMX’s homegoing service was “very genuine.”
Swizz says that DMX attended one of West’s “Sunday Service” events and Kanye was motivated by love to help out with DMX’s tribute.
“There wasn’t much talking or negotiating,” said Swizz. “It was last minute. That’s why it wasn’t televised when people got in there because the stage was still being built.”
Swizz is putting the finishing touches on X’s posthumous album, “Exodus” out May 28th.
